An isolux map shows the point-by-point illuminance (lux) distribution on the horizontal working plane beneath a luminaire — useful for estimating fixture count and uniformity before installation. This tool uses the same cosⁿ light distribution model and point-source law (E=I/h²) as our catalogue's photometric data to calculate how illuminance falls off with distance from the centre, on a grid. The result is a simplified approximation of a real isolux survey; for precise contours, a full photometric-file (IES/LDT) based lighting design tool should be used.
